Nelms A 4 ZNY," outer mahogany box with white Hamilton signature plaque, leather strap, silvered dial of approximately 4 inch diameter, KWKS, spring detent escapement with capped escape wheel, 14J, mono-metallic free-sprung balance with helical Elinvar hairspring, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#6920 with matching serial number to dial.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few micro-fine scratches; dial excellent in visible portion with only some tiny surface spots and small areas of mild darkening, edge rub under bezel; excellent hands; brass tub with some scratches, few tarnish spots, areas of rub including rear, some mild finish loss in areas; good glass crystal; gimbals with good function, areas of finish loss and rub; inner box excellent with good button latch functions, some exterior scratches, brass furniture with ample finish loss, upper surface with crazing of lacquer finish throughout; outer box shows little wear, some dings, scratches and scrapes with majority to rear face, strap of a different style than typical and we believe is a likely replacement, strap shows light overall wear.
